The person behind After The Rush
Hi, I'm Cari.
You're still getting everything done. You're also running on empty, and you can't remember the last time you felt like yourself.
I've been there. A single parent, too many jobs, and a body that needed more than I was giving it. Wellness advice just added to the list. What helped was giving myself permission to do less, and tucking small bits of recovery into the day I already had.
I'm a former teacher and children's therapist, and I created After The Rush for women 35 and over who are worn out and want something that fits. I'm not fixed, and I still have hard days. But I'm no longer white-knuckling every hour.
I believe you can recover from burnout, and with the right support, feel like yourself again. Not a new you. Just you, back.

Consider this your sign to stop waiting for a quieter week.
Because here's the thing — the quieter week never comes, does it? There's always something. Another deadline, another demand, another person who needs a piece of you. And somewhere along the way, you stopped making the list.
After The Rush is for you. Not the you who's holding everything together. The you who's a bit tired, a bit lost, and quietly wondering if this is just how it is now. It's not, by the way.
No overhauls. No overwhelming advice. Just honest, practical ideas from someone who gets it — and a community of women who do too.
Come and have a look around. You're in the right place.
